My Day By Danielle Bradbery For Winter Olympics!
Danielle Bradbery, winner of The Voice's 4th season, dedicated a performance of her latest single, "My Day," to the athletes in the upcoming Winter Olympics!
The 2014 Olympic Winter Games, in Sochi, Russia, begin in February 2014. To celebrate the grand event, Danielle sang an inspiring rendition of "My Day" on The Voice's season 5 finale!
As she sang, a montage of 2010 Olympic highlights and Sochi Olympic hopefuls played behind her. The song hearkens back to the magical night she won the singing competition.
"The song reminded me of all the excitement and honor I experience on that magical evening," Bradbery said. "I am honored to be able to share this song through this special campaign honoring our Olympic heroes, who I look forward to cheering on this winter on NBC."
The inspirational lyrics of her song, and the passion, competitive spirit and excitement of the Olympic Games were beautifully captured through Bradbery's voice, and the footage of athletes that ranged from world-class figure skaters to the popular snowboarder Shaun White.
