Our Fave New Beauty Products Getting Us Through Quarantine
Pretty much everything has slowed down (or become obsolete entirely) since coronavirus took over the world. That is, except the skincare industry.
While there are absolutely huge shifts and concerns for brands and business owners, there's no doubt that stay-at-home consumers are utilizing beauty products now more than ever. With extra time on their hands to pamper themselves and the freedom to test new trends and products, it's really a skincare lover's time to shine.
That said, we, too, have been doing our best to make the most productive use of our time. Thanks in part to the new beauty products below, we're not only discovering the latest innovations in our favorite industry, but we're also keeping our skin in tip-top shape, even under these stressful, harrowing conditions.

BioSilk Silk Therapy With Organic Coconut Oil Curl Cream: $25
Despite our many attempts, we kept putting off this essential product from BioSilk. We just couldn't fathom going au-naturel with our curls… that is, until we were locked away indefinitely, free to experiment wildly with our locks. But now that we've given this hydrating, volume-boosting, curl-enhancing bad boy a go, we're realizing that sporting our waves isn't actually a bad thing—and TBH, we can't wait to show them off to the world, post-quarantine.
TAO Clean Orbital Facial Brush System: $149
Using a cleansing brush for our face can only do us so much good if it's not cleansed itself. That's where this innovative product from TAO Clean comes into play, using powerful rotational technology more efficient than manual washing. The multipart system comes with an exfoliating brush head and a sensitive care brush head, along with a superior timed cleansing wash and dry. TBH, this future-thinking set is smart skincare at its finest, with its UV-C cleansing and patented docking station. We can go on and on, but we think it's best to give it a go yourself.
Mineral Air Skin Renewal Serum System: $70
We're already huge proponents of Mineral Air's at-home facial airbrush system, so when the brand launched the same type of product for serum application, we knew we had to give it a try. It's always recommended that we avoid touching our faces, but now that it's imperative that folks around the world do so, this product comes at the perfect time.
Packed with antioxidant edelweiss, along with hydrating hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, among a slew of other powerful ingredients, this vegan, cruelty-free serum moisturizes, brightens and balances—all at the hands of this trusty Elixermist Device.
Rael Daily Detox Oil to Foam Gentle Cleanser: $28
We applaud and value K-Beauty brand Rael first and foremost for making period care a priority. But the feminine hygiene company has taken things a step further by recently launching a full clean skincare line. We've had the pleasure of testing the entire set, and it's been keeping our uncharacteristic, mid-quarantine breakouts at bay.
We've gotta say, though, our favorite item from the line is the cleanser. Made with hydrating olive oil, protective Chinaberry extract and soothing Vitamin B5, we feel the day's gunk drip away when we apply this useful product.
Romer Treat Mask: $ 74.50
Hydrating and soothing, this mask from brand new clean beauty skincare line Romer works as an additional layer to your moisturizer, a five-minute mask or an overnight mask. Regardless of how you use the product—chock-full of hyaluronic acid, prickly pear seed oil and other highly hydrating ingredients—it feels light and leaves your skin looking fresh.
Daily Concepts Daily Obsidian Facial Roller: $32
We've tried a handful of facial rollers and thought they all pretty much worked the same. But, that is not the case when it comes to Daily Concepts. Their facial roller is truly out of this world, as the stone itself expands spirituality. Not only are you cleansing your aura while using this product, but you're also giving yourself a much needed lymphatic massage. By draining out unwanted matter in your face, you're able to give yourself the freedom to breathe and relax.

Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Sheet Mask: $10
When it comes to sheet masks, we know how overwhelming it can be to choose the perfect one. Since there are so many to pick from, we've become rather selective. When we first got our hands on Pixi Beauty's Vitamin C Sheet Masks, we knew we were in for a treat, and boy were we right. Jam-packed with vitamin C and ferulic acid, after using the mask, our skin was glowing and felt incredibly hydrated.
CHI x Barbie 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray: $16
Even though we're now adults, we won't ever get over our Barbie obsession. So when we found out that Barbie was doing a collaboration with CHI, we knew we'd hit the jackpot. The collection consists of hair styling products, but our absolute favorite has to be the thermal protection spray. It's the perfect product to use before applying heat to your hair so that you can keep your locks looking healthy and fresh.
