Shawn Mendes, Jess Glynne and More Bring Us Our Fave New Music This Week
There are so many reasons why Friday is our favorite day of the week, but mostly because we know that means new music from some of our fave artists.
Scroll through for the best new tracks that dropped this week from Shawn Mendes, Jess Glynne and more!
1. "Youth" by Shawn Mendes feat. Khalid
Heartbreak can be painful, but when the mega-talented Shawn Mendes and Khalid turn it into a true pop gem, we can't wish it away from the world. Ultimately, this song is about the strength and resilience that we all have inside us. That's a message we can get behind.
2. "I'll Be There" by Jess Glynne
We'll admit, we hadn't listened to Jess Glynne since her "Hold My Hand" days, but this catchy new anthem makes us feel like we're BFFs again. She's totally letting us know she'll be here for us y'all and that's all we can ask for in a friend!
3. "That Feeling When" by Dagny
Everyone talks about the positive aspects of romance, but it seems that conversations about the fear of being vulnerable are fewer and far between. This tune explores that sometimes-scary aspect of a new love in a catchy, upbeat way. Two thumbs way up.
4. "Changes" by Mat Kearney feat. filous
Change is tough, that's a given. Mat Kearney's new electro-infused track captures that feeling perfectly and lets us know it's going to be okay.
5. "Forgive You" by Leon Bridges
This slower Leon Bridges number is all about forgiving someone you shouldn't. His soulful voice and smooth R&B sound are what always keep us coming back for more. This is a track off his brand new album Good Thing that just dropped today as well. Be sure to give it a listen, you won't be disappointed.
