Nia Sioux’s New Song, ‘Best Christmas,’ Is the Perfect Reminder to Give Back During the Holidays

The holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year.

In the hustle and bustle of wrapping up school, solidifying your Christmas list and soaking in all your time with your family, it's easy to forget what the season is really about. Thankfully, Nia Sioux's new song is here to remind us!

In collaboration with DJ Lela B, the star released a new holiday tune that's all about the giving, rather than the receiving, of the Christmas season. Titled "Best Christmas," Nia's song takes  a modern twist on a holiday classic, with the added message of doing things for other people, rather than only focusing on what you want.

The upbeat tune and catchy lyrics tout the importance of giving back to your community during the holiday season, in both big and small ways. Even though it's easy to get wrapped up in your own gifts and wants, Nia wants to remind everyone that it can be just as rewarding to help something in need as it is to check every item off of your Christmas list.

But beyond the positive message, the new tune is just plain fun. With Lela B's beats in the background and Nia's sweet voice layered over the top, the song makes us want to get up and dance while we search for our next community service project.
