Nutella Is Opening a Cafe in New York, Proving Dreams Do Come True
New Yorkers have a big reason to celebrate: Nutella—also known as all that is delicious—will soon be more available in the city.
The makers of the chocolate hazelnut spread have decided to open a permanent cafe in the Union Square area, the New York Post reports.
Nutella Cafe isn't totally new the United States. Ferrero, the Italian company behind the spread, opened is first U.S. location in Chicago in May 2017. The cafe was greeted enthusiastically by the chocolate-loving masses; Eater Chicago reports lines began forming early the morning it opened.
The New York Nutella Cafe comes to the city in the wake of multiple pop-ups by the brand. This time, however, customers won't have to worry about fitting all the eating they can into a limited window. Ferrero has a 10-year lease for the space that will house the cafe, a source told Commercial Observer. That gives even those of us who don't live in New York time to get there and indulge.
We don't know yet when New York's Nutella Cafe will open, but we suspect there will be people lined up when it does.
