Do You Want To Build A Snowman? Learn To Draw Olaf!

Do you want to build a snowman? It's wintertime at last, and winter means snow! Even if you live where it never snows, you can "build" Frozen's Olaf the snowman with the help of this step-by-step drawing tutorial!

Start the drawing with a pencil, creating the shapes seen below. The outline consists mostly of circular shapes and angular lines. You might not see where it's going yet, but you will soon!

Continuing with the pencil, use the shapes you drew in the previous step to draw the lines seen in the figure below. Don't worry if they're not perfect. You'll start to see Olaf coming into shape!

Erase some of the basic shapes from step 1 if you'd like a clearer view of the snowman's outline.

Start penciling in some of the details! Start with a conic point noise and circles for the eyes and coal buttons. Big, curvy lines make up his mouth, and a rounded box forms his teeth!

Draw in the final details, including his hairs, pupils for his eyes, and a couple of squiggly eyebrows. Last but not least, draw a couple of long stick arms from his torso, touching his feet!

Very carefully go over your details with a pen. Make sure not to ink in the areas under the arms during this step!

Wait a couple of minutes for the pen's ink to dry. Then, erase all of your pencil marks!

Olaf isn't complete without a hint of color! Luckily, the white snowman doesn't require too much coloring work, but a bit of shading and an orange carrot nose can make a huge difference! Once you're finished coloring, you're done!
