In the latest season of the hit series, 9-year-old actress Olivia Sembra appears as 018, one of the many test subjects who grew up beside Eleven at Hawkins Lab. We meet her and the other children in Eleven's flashbacks as she explores her troubled past, digging deep in order to reclaim the powers she's lost.
We got the opportunity to chat with Olivia all about her experience on the set of Stranger Things and her time in the notorious Rainbow Room, plus the acting tip Millie Bobby Brown shared with her to bring her character to life.
Sweety High: Had you watched Stranger Things at all before winning the role of 018?
Olivia Sembra: No. Had no idea what it was. My parents showed me a few clips of the show, so I saw El's powers and Papa.
SH: What did it mean to you to know you were acting in a huge series with so many fans around the world?

SH: The test subjects at Hawkins Lab lived lives that were both scary and tragic. How did you get into Eighteen's head to play her?
OS: To get in the head of Eighteen, Millie [Bobby Brown] told me to be happy and sad at the same time. You are playing in the Rainbow Room, but you are sad about it, too.

OS: In between takes all the kids had a lot of fun together. I loved it!
SH: If you had a special superpower, what do you think it would be?
