One Direction On the Today Show Draws Record Crowd!
A record-breaking crowd gathered in New York City this morning to catch a glimpse of One Direction on the Today show!

According to the New York Police Department, around 18,000 devoted Directioners congregated around the Rockefeller Center in New York City outside the Today show studios to see their favorite band!
Today Show host Al Roker said "It seems to me this is the biggest crowd we've ever had."
Fans started camping out last week to ensure their space as a part of this historical crowd.
Two girls and their mother from Queens, New York, waited in line since the previous Saturday. Host Matt Lauer give them the title of biggest fans of the day!
The band performed their hit songs "Kiss You," "What Makes You Beautiful," and "Best Song Ever" and spoke about their upcoming 3D movie, This Is Us which premieres next Friday, August 30!
They also discussed band member Zayn Malik's recent engagement to Little Mix sweetheart Perrie Edwards!
