One Direction Songwriter Discusses Upcoming Song!

One Direction are currently traveling the United States on their "Take Me Home" tour while a group of One Direction songwriters is busy at work writing a bunch of songs that could potentially be on One Direction's next album. What could be more exciting?

One Direction announced recently that they're planning on their third studio album being out by the end of the year! One of the writers working on new songs is Roy Stride, guitarist and vocalist for London band Scouting For Girls.

Stride wrote a song that will most likely appear on the next One Direction album, even if he didn't know that would be its final resting place at the time.

"I don't think about who it's for, I've just got to write something that's amazing," Stride said. "I've got a song which I don't know if it's going to make the final album, but it's on the shortlist. It's a song which wasn't written for them, but is probably one of the best songs I wrote last year."

It must be an exciting time for Stride, who should know whether his track made the cut soon.

Stride also co-wrote the One Direction track "Stand Up, which appeared in the Yearbook Edition of One Direction's Up All Night.
