Our Favorite Makeup Products From Celebrity Brands

Once upon a time, anything celebrity-branded was sure to be a gimmick. Whether makeup or fragrance, you knew it would be sub-par quality with ultra-cheap packaging. But, hey, you purchased it anyway because it had a picture of Britney Spears, Beyoncé or whoever else.

Thankfully, the market has changed over the past decade. Now, you can find products that might even be better than the legacy brands. And we must applaud Rihanna, especially, for spearheading this shift with her luxury line, Fenty Beauty. It was the first company at Sephora that performed well and was founded by a superstar.

Below, discover a few of our favorite products created by Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and more.

Flower Beauty Get Real Serum Concealer — Drew Barrymore: $12

Drew Barrymore is like a ray of sunshine in real life. It would only make sense that she would start an uplifting brand to make others feel confident.

Flower Beauty's Get Real Serum Concealer is one of her best. It's lightweight, accentuating your natural beauty and doing a fantastic job at hydrating dry skin. Besides, you can't beat $12.

florence by mills Tint N Tame Eyebrow Pencil — Millie Bobby Brown: $16

Millie Bobby Brown's florence by mills brand was initially only skincare. With how much we enjoyed those items, we were ecstatic to see she expanded to makeup. Amongst her greatest is the Tint N Tame Eyebrow Pencil. It has a soft, creamy tip to help you achieve a flawless, sharp arch with natural brush strokes. Don't be surprised when you fall in love with it—it has almost five stars on Ulta's website for a reason.

Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Tint — Hailey Bieber: $16

Rhode Skin is truly a hidden gem. You can only buy it on its website, so you probably would've been searching for it already. If you haven't, the Peptide Lip Tint will make you go out of your way to find it. It's available in five gorgeous swatches, from a shimmering clear pink to a vampy chocolate brown. Most importantly, it does an unbelievable job of moisturizing the driest lips.

about-face Cheek Freak Blush Balm — Halsey: $18

We always recommend Halsey's about-face brand to anyone who prefers experimental, avant-garde looks. Each item has a rich color payoff and endless unusual, bright shades. That said, her Cheek Freak Blush Balm works for anyone. This buildable cream blush can give you a light flush with a mauve, or you can use it to add a vibrant pop to your cheeks in fuchsia or burgundy.

Haus Labs PhD Hybrid Lip Oil — Lady Gaga: $24

Forget the viral Dior lip oil. Lady Gaga's Haus Labs is equally good and easier to find. This item is nearly identical to the one you know and love but for a cheaper price. It has that soft, not sticky finish, and the color has the pigment to give you the slightest tint. We love Primary and Hue.

Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter — Selena Gomez: $25

You probably thought our favorite Rare Beauty item would be the wildly successful liquid blush. Nope! It's the Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter. We typically avoid using highlighter in our everyday makeup. It's hard to find one that doesn't give you that uncanny "blinding" finish or emphasize texture. However, this lifesaver from Rare Beauty completely transformed the way we view highlighter. It has a skin-like finish and provides the perfect amount of glow.

Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Hydrating Lip Stain — Rihanna: $27

These days, we hardly ever put on lipstick. It easily wipes off and feels dry. And why would we want to spend the day retouching our makeup? Instead, we opt for lip stains. You'll have that nice hue on your lips when you first apply it, and when it fades, your lips will still have color. One of the best has to be the Fenty Beauty Poutsticle. It feels very hydrating on your skin and looks ethereal when it fades.

r.e.m. beauty Sweetener Foundation — Ariana Grande: $35

Like highlighter, we have steered clear of foundation for most of our makeup-wearing lives—at least—until Ariana Grande dropped the Sweetener Foundation. This item is like magic in a bottle. First of all, it's the only product we've ever found that had an exact match for our neutral tan skin. On top of that, it has the most velvety texture that feels luscious on your face. It also has skincare ingredients, so you don't have to worry about a breakout after.
