Everything You Wanted to Know About ‘Fictional Men’ Singer-Songwriter PEGGY
There's a distinctive playfulness that sets 23-year-old indie-pop singer-songwriter PEGGY apart from our other favorite artists of today, and we can't get enough of it.
Known for such viral hits as "Fictional Men," "Villains Aren't Born (They're Made)," "LOVE," "ALICE" and more, PEGGY is a master of dreamy, acoustic-driven anthems that speak to the heart—and as members of many a fandom, we appreciate that her music is often inspired by her pop culture favorites, infused with literature, history and whatever else catches her fancy. PEGGY studied musical therapy in college, which just might be part of why we find her music so soothing, and her debut EP, Dear Reader, drops on April 12 and promises a magical, musical escape from the troubles of the real world. She'll also be performing at SXSW this year, and ahead of all of the excitement, we got the chance to catch up with PEGGY and learn all about the star as our latest Woman Crush Wednesday.
