Peppermint Bark Oreos Are Kicking Off the Winter Holidays in Your Mouth

You might not have visions of sugar-plums dancing in your head yet, but thanks to Nabisco, you might soon be dreaming of Peppermint Bark Oreos.

The holiday-themed cookies are on their way, and they look and sound delicious. They're an updated version of Nabisco's Mint Oreos, Real Simple reports, and they've become more festive.

Thanks to the flavored creme with crunchy sugar crystals, they seem to now have a candy cane twist.

Yum, right? We've been focused on Halloween treats lately, but this new Oreo variety gives us a something sweet to look forward to once those are off shelves.

In the meantime, you can check them out on some retailers' websites such as Target's, even if they're not actually available to purchase yet. Be patient, though, because winter is coming and you'll be able to don an ugly sweater and dunk Peppermint Bark Oreos in milk soon enough.
