We've seen a big resurgence in classic names that feel timeless and elegant, with a couple of more playful ones thrown in for good measure. 15. Violet
The name violet comes from the flower of the same name, and while the "shrinking violet" trope may be common, not all violets are complete wallflowers. They tend to be a big quiet, but deep and philosophical. 14. Elizabeth
The name Elizabeth comes from the bible and is a variation of the Hebrew name Elisheba, which means "My God is an oath." This classic name is associated with loyalty and trust. Elizabeths have many talents but are never content with their achievements and always looking to improve. They can be a bit naive, but are always surrounded by a tight-knit group of friends who will always have their backs.
13. Eleanor
The name Eleanor may seem a bit old-fashioned at first, but it's a sweet name that suits girls of all ages. It comes from the Old Provençal name Aliénor.
