Pikachu Now Has Its Own Rap Song—Here Are the Lyrics In English

You may have discovered last week that Pikachu now has its own absurdly catchy rap song.

However, if you don't speak Japanese, you've been left in the dark regarding the actual meaning of the song—with the exception of a couple of lyrics about it being No. 25 in the Pokédex as well as No. 1. in our hearts.

Lucky for us, a translator named Kan at Kantopia translated the literal lyrics of the Pikarap. Though they don't necessarily flow with the rhythm of the rap, they give a lot of insight into what the song is truly about. She gave us permission to publish those lyrics here and they're just as good as we imagined.
