Everything We Know So Far about the ‘Power Rangers’ Movie

2. RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, Becky G and Dacre Montgomery are playing the Power Rangers that will be saving the world. It's Morphin Time!

3. One of the original Power Rangers, Jason David Frank, who played the Green/White Ranger, told ComicBook.com that he doesn't know just how he will be involved in the film, but he believes "for sure cameos" will happen.

4. Elizabeth Banks is playing the Power Rangers' arch nemesis Rita Repulsa, who is dead set on taking over the world. Carla Perez, who played the original Rita in the TV series, raved about Elizabeth to Broadly, saying the Hunger Games star is "such a good actress." We can't help but agree and we're so excited to see how Elizabeth interprets the role.

5. This is only the second major motion picture Dean Israelite has ever directed. His first one was Project Almanac, which happens to be one of our fave movies. We have all the faith in his ability to make the Power Rangers reboot everything we could ever hope for.

6. As far as their signature ranger suits go, Dean told EW , "We've really pushed ourselves to make them feel different from any other superhero costume that's out there. One key that's different to the Power Ranger suits is that they're not really suits that people get into. They're suits that morph onto our kids, so they already have this almost metaphysical quality to them." We are definitely interested to see how that is going to look!

We know our girl Becky G is going to kick plenty of butt as the Yellow Ranger, especially because she nailed her guest star appearance on THIS show.
