What to Know About Princess Polly’s First-Ever Store in Century City
Princess Polly has long been one of our favorite online fashion boutiques, and the Australian brand just made a huge leap with their first-ever shop at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles.
We simply had to get in on the action, and our host and producer Sienna Leone was there on the scene for the Princess Polly grand opening. She got the chance to tour the store, check out the latest on-trend styles and chat with Alex Collis, senior director of operations at Princess Polly, to give us the inside scoop. For everything you need to know about the brand and its newest looks, check out her interview below.
Sienna Leone: We're here at Princess Polly's first global store opening. Why were L.A. and Century City perfect for the brand?
Alex Collis: We're excited to be here in L.A., obviously a very trend-driven city. Princess Polly is huge across our social media platforms, and Century City is an awesome location for us. Our demographic is really that 15- to 25-year-old, so anybody who's going to their first homecoming dance all the way to maybe sorority rush. We're also right near the colleges.
We've got UCLA down the road and USC just a little ways away. There's a huge fashion hub here for us at Princess Polly. We're just so thrilled to be here in person in real life for the first time and just can't wait to hear all of the exciting feedback from our customers. We are so customer-obsessed and very excited to be here.
SL: Princess Polly has so many cute pieces, from dresses and tops to skirts and jackets. What's your favorite piece you are loving right now?
AC: My favorite piece right now is one of the jackets—the Callie Faux Leather Jacket ($94). It's this beautiful red, kind of oversized baggy fit, and right now, I'm loving a good baggy moment. It's definitely on-trend, and that cherry red is super in right now. It's been all over the runways and I'm totally here for it.
It's very cute and very versatile. I'm happy to throw this over a denim jean or even a little skirt or wear it oversized with my favorite dress underneath. Again, that cherry red is the color of the season.

SL: What will customers see when they come to check out the store?
AC: We're really excited to bring newness into the store every week.
Obviously, we have a huge category of inventory and we just can't wait to it all into into the store. Obviously, right now is kind of the homecoming, back-to-school season, so we've got a lot of that in the store.
We've also got fall-wear—some of it in that cherry red—and are integrating some of those fashion key moments in-store as well.
