Demi Lovato's latest single "Heart Attack" proves that Demi is a pop powerhouse. With the changes of rhythm within the song and the awesome belting vocals, we can see why it would be a prom favorite!

2. One Direction – "Live While We're Young"

We were positive that One Direction would make this list! "Live While We're Young" was the first single off their latest album, "Take Me Home," but since its release in September it hasn't faded at all! The catchy tune and live-for-the-moment sentiment are perfect prom material!

The romantic lyrics and beautiful waltz of Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" makes it the perfect prom playlist song for a slow dance with your special prom date!

* Lady Gaga – "Just Dance"

Who could resist the beat of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance"? We think the song could get even the shyest of wallflowers out on the dance floor. It's all in the title of the song!

* Ke$ha – "Blow"

Ke$ha's "Blow" commands you to "Dance!" at the very start. We think it would be a great track to get a even the quietest of proms shaking! And who could deny that rhythm?

* Selena Gomez – "Come and Get It"

Selena Gomez' "Come and Get It" is hot off the presses, and we've been loving every minute of it! If you caught Selena at the Radio Disney Music Awards, you saw the awesome dance that accompanies "Come and Get It." It would be amazing if you could replicate that fantastic choreography on the prom dance floor!
