This Fiery, $40 Prom Dress Is the IT Item of the Season!
Lady in red!
That's apparently a trend among prom-goers this year – and as we've noted before, we're hot for what we're seeing.

The low-cut, lengthy ensemble pictured above called Miriam is the most purchased item during 2016 prom season so far at popular teen dress boutique Windsor, says Blanca Farber, a special occasion buyer for the company.
At just $39.90, Blanca suggests to Sweety High that the fiery formal selection fits in with the "sleek, form-fitting dresses [that] are more popular this year, especially in black, red or burgundy."
This is a change from the bright hues of years past, as Blanca notes, "We are seeing a decrease of popularity in pastel-colored dresses. We have sold coral and mint really well, but not at all this year."
More of the retail chain's top-selling items that are aimed at the biggest high school dance of the year include a $59.90 Narissa White Lace Illusion dress and a black Kendall cropped two-piece with top gold embellishments.

While we can't confirm the latter's namesake, is it pure coincidence that the savvy $129.90 ensemble embodies Kendall Jenner's style to a tee? It only makes sense that one of our fave fashionista's day-to-day wear has the power to influence prom styles!
"This is a pretty new trend," Blanca says of the two-piece sets. "And we expect it to get bigger in the next few seasons."
