Definitive Ranking of the Most Popular Netflix Heartthrobs
Over the years, Netflix has brought us some truly fantastic content.
From heartwarming romantic comedies to mind-boggling sci-fi series, the streaming service has definitely established itself as one of the top names in addictive programming. And if there's one thing we can count on across our beloved Netflix originals, it's swoon-worthy male characters.
But, like all things in life, our fave hotties have a hierarchy. Keep scrolling for the definitive ranking of our favorite Netflix heartthrobs.
8. Billy Hargrove – Stranger Things
Since Steve Harrington was just too lovable to fill the role of the hot jerk, Stranger Things season 2 introduced us to Billy Hargrove, the new bad boy on the block. Billy is at the bottom of our list of Netflix heartthrobs for all kinds of reasons, the majority of which have to do with the fact that he's a truly terrible person. He's aggressive, discriminatory, mean and controlling, and he doesn't seem to have any truly redeeming qualities, at least from what we've seen so far. Also, no one is hot enough to truly rock a mullet, which was the final nail in the coffin for our love of Billy Hargrove.

7. Noah Flynn – The Kissing Booth
Despite how much everyone seems to love Noah Flynn from The Kissing Booth, we are not on board with this love interest. He's aggressive, controlling and has a bad attitude about pretty much everything for no apparent reason. Sure, he's nice to look at, but his pretty face and perfectly chiseled abs aren't enough to distract us from everything else that's going on here. Sorry Noah, we're not here for you.

6. Josh Sanderson – To All the Boys I've Loved Before
To be fair to Josh, we don't get to see much of him in To All the Boys I've Loved Before because most of the movie is spent on the other main male character, Peter Kavinsky. He seems like a nice, sweet boy, but there just isn't enough there to really wow us. He was an adequate boyfriend to Margot, and him and Lara Jean got along, but he definitely seemed to have a pretentious side that really came out every time he talked about Peter. And honestly, if you can't get on board with Peter, we can't get on board with you—which pushes Josh to No. 6 on our list.

5. Jonathan Byers – Stranger Things
Another Stranger Things love interest, we have a bit of a mixed opinion on Jonathan Byers. He's sweet, genuine and definitely a little bit misunderstood, but we still can't shake the fact that he comes off a little bit creepy. We can't forget that he took those pictures of Nancy in season 1 and he always seems a little reserved and in his own head. He's a cutie, but we just don't love him as much as we love some of our other swoon-worthy options.

4. Charlie Young – Set It Up
Set It Up is one of the most underrated Netflix movies, in large part due to Harper and Charlie's relationship. Not only is their chemistry off the charts, there's also a lot to love about Charlie on his own. He's career-focused, ambitious, quirky and funny. Plus, he's got a very sweet and caring side that just wants to be loved and cared for. He can get a little caught up in his dreams and forget to take a look at reality, but we can forgive him for that. Not everyone can be perfect, after all.

3. Lee Flynn – The Kissing Booth
Controversial opinion: Lee is an infinitely better choice for a love interest than Noah. Not only is he still a total cutie, he's also totally devoid of all the qualities Noah has that make us want to rip our hair out. Where Noah is aggressive and controlling, Lee is sweet and sensitive. He treats his girlfriend with tons of respect and always finds a way to show her that he cares. Call us crazy, but we would take Lee over Noah literally any day.

2. Steve Harrington – Stranger Things
Are you even surprised that Steve Harrington ranks so high? The best mom in Hawkins, Indiana, is undoubtedly one of our ultimate favorites in terms of Netflix heartthrobs. Granted, he starts off the series with a bit of a questionable character. He's not the best boyfriend to Nancy and he has a bit of a bullying side, but we like to call that Steve 1.0. The new and improved Steve who appears in season 2 is an entirely different man. He's sweet, attentive and incredibly caring towards the people around him, particularly the set of children who he gets caught up with and ultimately decides to co-parent. We love everything about Steve, including (and maybe most of all) his perfect Farrah Fawcett hair.

1. Peter Kavinsky – To All the Boys I've Loved Before
Was there ever any other choice for the No.1 slot than the beautiful, kindhearted, angel face Peter Kavinsky? The To All the Boys I've Loved Before main character is everything we want out of a fictional boyfriend. He's sweet, attentive, complimentary and vulnerable with his feelings in a way that we don't often get to see in movies. Not to mention he's also athletic and ridiculously good-looking, but that's just icing on the cake. Peter is definitely our ultimate Netflix heartthrob and we can't even imagine a day when we won't be head-over-heels in love with him.
