Which RuPaul’s Drag Race Drag Queen Are You, Based on Your Zodiac Sign?

Two things are saving us in this pandemic: masks and Rupaul's Drag Race.

RuPaul's Drag Race existed before the pandemic, of course. Its first season was in 2009, and since then, there have been 13 regular seasons and 5 All Stars seasons. RuPaul's Drag Race has brought the world of drag into the mainstream and helped people understand drag's artistry and history. RuPaul's Drag Race was there for us when the world first turned upside down in March 2020. The first episode of Season 12 aired on February 28, and the first episode of All Stars on June 5. The entertainment helped us escape from the pandemic, and RPDR continues to distract us during these uncertain times as Season 13 is airing right now.

There are so many iconic and talented queens that we love. We identify with certain queens, but have you ever wondered which queen you resonate with the most? Check out these zodiac readings to see which one you are! It's appropriate to note that different versions of RuPaul's Drag Race have aired in the U.K. (U.K. Season 2 is currently airing right now), Canada, Thailand and Holland, but there are so many incredible American queens, so we focused on U.S. queens for this list!

Aries (March 21– April 19): Miz Cracker

Miz Cracker is bold and driven, like a true Aries. Miz Cracker thrives in any competitive environment, from winning a national gold medal in karate when she was a kid to two seasons of RPDR. Her undeniable ambition and motivation helped her succeed in the challenges, landing her in Season 10's top five and runner-up in All Stars Season 5. Not only is she focused, but she also has Aries' incredible creativity. Miz Cracker excels in any sewing challenge and can make a beautiful garment out of literally anything. However, Aries isn't all work. Miz Cracker perfectly personifies the upbeat, positive and playful side of Aries that we all love. She is undeniably charming and that's why even though she didn't win her seasons, she ended up winning the hearts of fans everywhere.

Taurus (April 20– May 20): Katya Zamolodchikova

Grounded and serene aren't two words you would use to describe Katya, but she does embody many of the Taurus qualities. Katya is hard-working and resilient. She tackles every challenge she faces, both on-screen and off. She has not only competed in two seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, but she has also recently released an album, acted in movies and TV shows, co-wrote a New York Times best-selling book, and co-hosts a YouTube show with Trixie Mattel called "UNHhhh." The girl hustles. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of attraction and beauty, so Katya is a natural artist. She embodies sensuality and creativity. Katya is also brilliant with her quick wit and ability to speak in three languages. Taurus is extremely likable as they're easy to get along with and naturally funny, which explains why Katya won Season 7 Miss Congeniality and remains a fan favorite. As for why she isn't laid back, her Leo moon and other planet placements would explain it.

Gemini (May 21– June 20): Violet Chacki

Violet Chachki is the definition of a Gemini. She is creative, curious, innovative and bright. She swooped in and stole the Season 7 crown with her jaw-dropping looks and impeccable sense of fashion. She wasn't afraid to push boundaries and experiment with her runway looks. Violet suffered the classic Gemini problem of appearing aloof and judgmental during Season 7, as air signs are often detached and in their heads. Although she has a petty side, Violet is actually very playful and witty, which she has been able to show off with her creative pursuits since her season.

Cancer (June 21– July 22): Bob the Drag Queen

Bob the Drag Queen is undoubtedly one of RuPaul's Drag Race's most dynamic queens. Bob might not seem like a classic Cancer, but Cancer is an inherently complex sign. Bob displays the traditional Cancer traits of being tenacious, driven, passionate and emotional. People mistake Cancers for being weak because they feel deeply and have an easy-going demeanor, but they are very strong-willed. Bob is hilarious, which is an underrated aspect of Cancers. They have a great sense of humor and love people who can make them laugh. Bob is very loyal to the people in her life. Even when queens like Thorgy and Derrik Berry were rude to her, she would still see them as friends and roots for them to this day. Cancers are also very compatible with Pisces, making sense that Moné X Change would be Bob's drag sister and best friend. Cancer is used to not being understood, and Bob has embraced this attribute and used it to her advantage because there is no other queen like her.

Leo (July 23– Aug. 22): GottMik

GottMik, like a true Leo, is a trailblazer in the drag world. GottMik is currently starring in Season 13 and is the first trans man to compete on RuPaul's Drag Race. GotMikk is a passionate, theatrical, confident and fashion-forward visionary who steals the attention in every challenge and runway. Every single week she brings never-before-seen looks, including the look she designed and sewed in the Bag Ball challenge. GotMikk has such a warm and magnetic energy, every queen in the Werk Room (and everyone watching at home) has fallen in love with her. GottMik is the center of the attention wherever she goes, and you can tell she thrives in the spotlight. GottMik is a star on the stage and in real life, shaking up the cis-tem and opening new doors for other trans artists.

Note: GottMik's pronouns are he/him/his when he is out of drag, but in drag, he prefers she/her/hers, like most drag queens. When we refer to GottMik as "she," it is because we are talking about him in drag.

Virgo (Aug. 23– Sep. 22): Trixie Mattel

Trixie Mattel is the Virgo Barbie of our dreams. Everything about Trixie's life is perfectly planned out, from the precise angles of her distinctive makeup to the perfect pink color coordination of her home. Trixie is a perfectionist, which can benefit her when she puts out creative content like her music and fashion sense, but it can also be her downfall. As a Virgo, she can be very hard on herself and doesn't like making mistakes. Virgo has a close circle of friends. She may seem like an extrovert, but she likes her privacy, and in a very Virgo nature, has a close circle of friends in her life. You can see how dedicated she is to her work and friends in her documentary, Moving Parts. Trixie shows that Virgos aren't just bookkeepers. They can thrive in any environment because they are willing to outwork everyone in the room and never miss a detail.

Libra (Sep. 23– Oct. 22): Adore Delano

It makes sense that Adore's famous catchphrase is "party" because Libra's are the life of every party. Adore is charming, beautiful, outgoing and has an artistic flair that is unique to this air sign. People can't help but love Adore as she's sweet and funny, but also fierce and innately social. Ruled by Venus, Libras are obsessed with beauty and aesthetics. Some people think that makes Libra shallow, but Adore uses her love of beauty to create art and live an inspired life. Libras can be very self-critical and often worry about what other people think about them. In All Stars Season 2, Adore talks about how she changed her drag style to be more conventional after facing criticism. However, Adore realized that her unique kind of drag is what made her so special. Adore walked into the room saying, "I'm a Libra," and she made the loveable and artistic Libra girls proud.

Scorpio (Oct. 23– Nov. 21): Kandy Muse

Kandy Muse is a New York Scorpio queen who's bringing the fire to Season 13. She is a hard worker passionate about drag and willing to do anything it takes to excel in Drag Race. She has a dynamic energy that benefits her in the competition and captivates people. Like most Scorpios, you don't want to mess with her. As a Scorpio, she will fight back if she feels like you're threatening her. Some think Scorpios like her are easily agitated, but they are incredibly emotional, so sometimes their emotions get the best of them. Like all water signs, she cherishes the people in her life. You can see this with the deep bond she's made with her Season 13 sisters, GotMikk and Tina. Kandy Muse is a fierce and imaginative competitor in this show. If she can keep the waves of emotion under control and channel that passion, there is no stopping her.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22– Dec. 21): Jaida Essence Hall

Jaida is an optimistic and adaptable Sagittarius queen. As the current reigning queen of RuPaul's Drag Race, she was able to win Season 12 with her abundant creativity and ability to adapt to any challenge (except the stand-up comedy challenge, but we won't talk about that). Jaida has an infectious and warm personality. She has a blunt sense of humor that is always playful but doesn't cause offensive because Sagitaruius is just too likable. Jaida has the genuine kindness and warm heart of a Sagitarrius, as we saw when she bonded with a drag race super fan during the makeover challenge. She also entertained the other super fans in the room, so they would all have a memorable experience. She is a free spirit, but she's able to focus her restless energy on accomplishing her goals. Sagittarius, take notes!

Capricorn (Dec. 22– Jan. 19): Alyssa Edwards

Alyssa Edwards represented her fellow Capricorns when she starred on Season 5 of RPDR and Season 2 of All Stars. Alyssa has relentless energy and never quits. The type of unwavering ambition and intense spirit that is natural to Capricorns can be grating for others, so some queens clashed with Alyssa's energy on the show. She has high standards for the people in her life because she has high standards for herself. Capricorns love to manage everything, which contributes to Alyssa's love of choreography, because she gets to tell everyone where to go and what to do! Capricorns are known for having a unique sense of humor. They are hilarious, but you have to "get" their humor style, which is very Alyssa Edwards. That's probably why she has more iconic quotes than almost any other drag queen. Who could forget, "I don't get cute. I get drop-dead gorgeous."

Aquarius (Jan. 20– Feb. 18): Shea Couleé

Shea Couleé is not only the current All Stars queen, but she is also an Aquarius icon. The energy she brought to the Werk Room and the runway was so dazzling and authentic. She is incredibly imaginative and talented. She's an individualist who stands out in a crowd, which is why she soared to the finals in both Season 9 and All Stars Season 5, where she snatched the crown. She's a natural entertainer and is so unique that nobody can get on her level. However, the true Aquarius nature that she displays is that she is a humanitarian at heart. She never hesitated to help the other girls in the workroom and support the other queens. She is a daring innovator with a heart of gold.

Note: Shea Couleé's pronouns out of drag are they/them/theirs. Their pronouns are she/her/hers when they are in drag, which is why we used "she" in the zodiac description.

Pisces (Feb. 19– March 20): Monét X Change

All Stars winner of Season 4, Monét X Change shows how Pisces can channel their creative energy into tangible ideas. Monét has the artistic and musical abilities of the water sign and the confidence to follow through with her ideas, which can be a struggle for some Pisces. Monét is friendly, like all Pisces, and quickly befriended all the girls in the Werk Room. She is compassionate and has an open mind. Pisces can be a little detached from reality, and if you saw Monét's sponge dress which she thought the judges would love, you know that sometimes Monet can fall victim to this. However, Monét is a creative genius and her innate artistic abilities help her shine in every situation.
