Rydel Lynch Gives Us Her Homemade Coconut Syrup Recipe for World Baking Day!
In honor of World Baking Day this week, we reached out to one of our fave style icons, musicians and oven advocates, Rydel Lynch.
Sweety High frequently turns to Rydel for cooking inspo, so we knew she would have something yummy for us when we told her we were feeling festive today! The R5 bandmate gave us the tricks to her uh-mazing homemade coconut syrup, the perfect accompaniment to all our fave baked goods! ?
"I got this recipe from my cousin Holly," Rydel explained. "I had it for the first time last Christmas and instantly became obsessed! It's super buttery and sweet, my two favorite things! … You can honestly put it on anything."

Rydel Lynch's Totally Tasty Coconut Syrup Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cube butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 tsp coconut extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Instructions:
- Have a parent help you bring the butter, sugar and milk to a boil for one minute
- Add coconut extract and baking soda
- Mix well
- Let cool and then drizzle generously on top of all of your fave treats ?
