She was able to tell us about some of the great benefits of saffron, and why she decided to start putting it in skincare in the first place. Sweety High: Most people probably think of saffron as a spice for cooking, but why is it actually a great skincare ingredient?
Anne Oliver: It was through my endless research in using saffron to improve my health that I discovered how this spice was used in beauty rituals for centuries. Through trial and error, I began to test the different qualities of saffron, only to find out that I noticed improvements in my complexion when using the highest quality, premium Negin. From this experience, I knew that saffron was a key ingredient missing in skincare and I set out to create House of M Beauty, a saffron-focused line of multipurpose products primed to brighten, calm and protect your complexion.
