TBT: ’90s Trends That Came Back in a Big Way This Week

Between the RDMAs, the Met Gala and the White House Correspondents' Dinner each within the last week, there has been a superabundance of fashion moments by celebs. Yaaas!

One thing we've noticed – and are totally ok with, btw – is that stars have been incorporating more and more uh-mazing throwback trends into their red carpet looks.

These are the eight '90s styles we are thrilled to have reappear in our lives:

1. The Dark/Red Ruby Lip – We're feeling this grungy but beautiful look! We think it's elegant, chic and totally bold. Taylor Swift and Hailee Steinfeld pull off these lip colors effortlessly in our opinion.

2. The Choker – We're still totally stoked that the choker necklace continues on its comeback. While everyone from Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have caused a boom in its resurgence, Alessia Cara is a most recent prime example of how this simple accessory can completely transform an outfit and give it that extra edge! ?

3. The Denim Jacket – Okay, so maybe the denim jacket never went out of style, but we're glad it's still around and we never want to see it leave! Karan Brar showed us how something this casual can look instantly more preppy if you pair it with the right jeans.

4. Overalls – We are 100% okay with bringing back overalls because they fulfill our childhood nostalgia! We're especially big fans of the pair that actor Marcus Scribner rocked at the RDMAs

5. Crop Tops – What can we say other than that we are obsessed with crop tops? They're fun, super adorbs and can be dressed up or down. Laura Marano's colorful crop top and pants are giving us major throwback vibes!

6. Combat Boots – Is it just us, or do chunky combat boots just instantly up your cool factor? We give major props to Selena Gomez for being able to pull off a long, feminine ensemble while stomping around with some serious edge.

7. Leather and Metallic Accessories – Singer/songwriter Grimes reminded us that leather bracelets and metallic accessories are still wearable and cute. The studs on her bracelets are a little bit punk and a little bit glam. Love!

8. Face Framing HairstyleKendall Jenner's face framing strands of hair are a total '90s trend! She somehow makes the style look modern and fierce.
