Sephora’s NEW Big By Definition Mascara Is Here!
Today, Jan. 20, marks the day Sephora launches their Big By Definition Mascara!
We don't know about you, but we've been waiting to get our hands on a mascara that does it all, and we think we've found it in the Big By Definition Mascara. We were sent the product ahead of its launch, and after trying it out for ourselves, we can honestly say it's a game-changer.
Helen Dagdag, Sephora Collection National Artist, was kind enough to speak with us all about the launch. Look below to find out all about Sephora's brand new Big By Definition Mascara.
Sweety High: Tell us about yourself!
Helen Dagdag: I'm an L.A.-based makeup artist and I have an effortless style when it comes to makeup. I believe a compelling canvas starts with a beautiful complexion and having a playful eye with small details. I joined Sephora in 2006 and have held multiple leadership positions within the company. As the current National Makeup Artist for Sephora Collection, I serve as the lead artist for Sephora Collection throughout the Americas. I am the lead artist on Sephora Collection photoshoots and am involved in all video content for the brand. When I am not working, I love traveling, and spending time in Los Angeles hiking and hanging with my beloved pets and dear friends.
SH: What does mascara do for our eyes?
HD: Mascara makes such a difference in your makeup. It draws attention to the eye and defines each lash. I find that mascara really opens your eyes by pushing your lashes up.

SH: Is mascara a must when you personally wear makeup?
HD: Mascara is my only must-have when it comes to makeup! Especially for myself since I am blonde and naturally have light lashes. Universally, I find mascara makes all the difference when you want to look well-rested and fresh-faced.
SH: Tell us about the new Big By Definition Mascara!
HD: The Sephora Collection Big By Definition Mascara ($12) is an incredible mascara for lots of volume and separation. Usually, you can find those things separately but not together in a mascara.

SH: What sets it apart from other mascaras?
HD: Gone are the days of wardrobing your mascaras so you can have both volume and definition—this puppy does that, and then some. Personally, I love the brush. It has a slight taper and deposits just the right amount to coat each lash. The formula has plant-based proteins that keep your lashes healthy and is long-wearing—it never crumbles or smudges.
SH: Is there anything else we should know?
HD: This mascara really hits the mark by defining lash by lash and managing to give mega volume. I love to wiggle the brush at the base of my lashes and slowly pull through to build the perfect base and then build from there. For just $12 you cannot go wrong!
