6 Hidden Gems from the Sephora Savings Event

It's finally that time of year when Sephora does its semi-annual Savings Event!

Until April 24, you can shop at Sephora for 20%, 15% or 10% off, respectively, for VIB Rouge, VIB and Beauty Insiders. This sale is always my favorite time to try out those products I wasn't sure about paying full price for and stocking up on my regular items.

Of course, this time of year always sends shoppers flocking to TikTok's favorite beauty items—such as Rare Beauty's new tinted lip oil and Kosas' clean concealer—but it can be extremely difficult to catch these coveted items in stock. If you're looking to try out a few new products before the Savings Event is over, I've gathered six criminally underrated products you should try.

Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray: $28

I discovered the Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray during the height of a breakout last year, and I have not stopped re-purchasing it since. The key ingredients of this mist are hypochlorous acid and sodium chloride. This combination is the perfect formula to battle battle acne specifically (and also helped me discover that my acne was bacterial in the first place).

It's a very light mist that dries quickly and has a slight fragrance that reminds me of a beach's salt air. I'm surprising that I haven't heard more people talk about this product because it's my holy grail!

Clarins Lip Comfort Hydrating Oil: $28

I had been eyeing this product for about three years and finally took the leap to purchase it. I'm a lip oil lover in general and easily prefer them over standard lip glosses. They're usually a lot thinner and more hydrating.

Before this purchase, I was a huge fan of Addison Rae's (now defunct) Item Beauty lip oil, which was my favorite, and the viral Dior lip oil. I've always appreciated those two because of their opaqueness, but I found Clarins to be the perfect alternative with more pigment, and I would say that it has the same quality level as Dior and Item Beauty oils.

Sol de Janeiro 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream Gel: $26

For a long time, I have been a drugstore body wash kind of girl. I dealt with a bout of body acne and dry skin earlier this year and decided to upgrade to Sol de Janeiro's brightening body wash. It did wonders for my acne, but because it contained BHA and AHAs, it didn't help my dryness.

After I finished the bottle, I decided to purchase their 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream, and it did not disappoint! It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated, and it has a gorgeous vanilla scent, similar to their original body spray.

Yves Saint Laurent Touch Éclat High Cover Radiant Under Eye Concealer: $40

It took me so long to realize the concealer under my eyes didn't look flawless because I wasn't color-correcting. I have blue hues under my eyes that I wanted to conceal, but my regular concealer matched my neutral undertones. While browsing, I came across an under-eye-specific concealer and absolutely fell in love with the YSL Touche Éclat concealer pen.

I purchased a shade with a peach undertone meant to help correct discoloration under the eyes. It also has a light coverage, which left me with a natural, skin-like appearance. If you can find the right shade, this product is perfect for color-correcting and concealing!

Too Faced Born This Way Healthy Glow SPF 30 Moisturizing Skin Tint: $42

Last summer, I decided to ditch foundation in my beauty routine. I could never find an application method that didn't feel or look cakey, so I started applying concealer as a replacement. It works most of the time, but I also feel like it can leave me feeling cakey if it's not used exclusively as a spot treatment.

This product has converted me into a skin tint user! It has entirely resolved any cakey feeling. Overall, it applies much more similarly to sunscreen, which makes sense because it has the bonus of SPF 30. I can already see myself using this all summer.

Mini Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder: $24

Laura Mercier's translucent setting powder is a classic! I remember buying the regular size a few years ago, and it lasted me over a year. I've always found this product to be very beginner friendly and that it kept my makeup fresh all day and never left me with any flashback in photos.

I came across the mini size and instantly put it in my cart. I imagine this amount would last me enough time for it not to expire and for a lower price.
