We’re Counting Down the Days Until Shawn Mendes Hits the Stage for iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball

Shawn Mendes is no stranger to iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball tour.

He's performed on the tour the last two years, and if those concerts were any indication of how he'll do this time around, we know he'll knock it out of the park.

To get ourselves ready for Jingle Ball 2016, we're taking a trip down memory lane to Shawn's past performances, and then looking ahead to predict what we think he'll be singing live on stage this year.

Ready for a major throwback? In 2014, before he went on tour with our girl Taylor Swift, Shawn took the stage and sang his tunes "Something Big" and "Life of the Party"—the two singles that helped him climb his way up in the music industry. Ahhh, the memories.

Last year, Shawn delivered at Jingle Ball once again by belting out his sweet and sentimental song "Stitches." Please try to not swoon when you listen to this acoustic version:

Seeing as Shawn and Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello's song "I Know What You Did Last Summer" was a smash hit at the time, the duo hit the stage and performed it live. Let's just say they dominated. 2105 was a good year.

So, what can we expect to see this year from Shawn? A few songs from his new album Illuminate? Maybe, just maybe, our fave song, "Treat You Better?" We can only hope.

Regardless of what he plays, we'll be there front and center bopping along to all his hit songs. If you'd like to catch Shawn on his Jingle Ball tour, too, check out the dates he'll be performing below:

  • Thursday, Dec. 1 at SAP Center in San Jose, California
  • Wednesday, Dec. 7 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Sunday, Dec. 11 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts
