We Bet We Can Guess Your Fave Ship Based on Your Zodiac Sign
At one time or another, all of us have desperately wanted two characters to be a thing.
This is called shipping, and it comes in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes these couples already exist onscreen, sometimes they're characters who despise one another and sometimes they're ones who've never met.
We bet we can guess your favorite kind of ship based on your zodiac sign. Keep reading to find out if we nailed it.
Aries (March 21 – April 19): The Crossover Ship
You're a daring, spontaneous Aries, so you don't stick to what's expected. The characters in your ship don't even have to be in the same show, book or movie for you to know that they're perfect for one another. You've spent plenty of time envisioning the crossover between your two favorites and imagining the perfect opportunity for them to fall in love. It might never happen, but that won't stop you.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20): The Sailed Ship
Ever the realist, only the most practical of ships will do for Taurus. Chances are that you've invested in a couple that's totally canon, whose relationship is proven to succeed. Who needs all of the complications of will they-won't they tension when everything you want is already right in front of you?

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): The Dark Side-Light Side Ship
There are two sides to every Gemini, so it only makes sense that there are two sides to your ship. You ship characters on two opposing ends of a struggle, who disagree on pretty much everything but are common in their passion for their cause. Despite their differences, you understand that they're more alike than they know and that this makes them the perfect match.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): The Ship That Passes in the Night
As a Cancer, you've always had a sixth sense allowing you to perceive people's innermost feelings. Of course, your ship is one that only your intuitive mind could sense. The two characters in your ship barely meet in their book, movie or show—or don't meet at all—but that doesn't mean that they're not destined for love.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): The Crack Ship
For bold, extroverted Leo, not any old ship will do. Your ship is the crack ship, the coupling that doesn't make much logical sense, but you love it anyway. Maybe the two characters are on entirely different sides, have completely clashing personalities of barely know one another. It doesn't matter because you've already determined exactly why they need to be.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22): The Fan-Preferred Ship
As the always-analytical Virgo, your ship must be the fan-favorite—even if it's not what the creators intended. For whatever reason, the minds behind the piece of media didn't see that two characters were obviously supposed to wind up together, but that hasn't stopped the fans (and you) from shipping them to the ends of the earth.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22): The Just Friends Ship
As a lover of peace and harmony, Libras tend to admire the relationships that grow between best friends. There's a good chance that your favorite ship is between two characters who've established that they're just good platonic friends. The better their friendship gets, the more desperate you get for them to develop a relationship that's something more.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): The Sunk Ship
You're a hardworking Scorpio, and just because your ship didn't work out on the screen or the page doesn't mean it can't in your fanfiction—and your heart. Even though it's pretty much been established that your favorite couple will never be together, you still firmly believe they're soulmates and could figure it out if they just worked on it.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): The Portmanteau Ship
Sagittarians are humorous wordsmiths who put a lot of value into the name of a ship—so much so that you might actually pick a ship over another because it's got the cleverest name. You love Pepper Potts and Tony Stark's "Pepperony" and that pairing Pokémon's Jesse and James is called RocketShipping. Sometimes, you just have to go with the ship that sounds the best.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): The Rival Ship
Capricorn's hardworking nature can make you appear a bit traditional or even boring to outsiders, but that's anything but the case on the inside. You crave a challenge, so of course, your ship is made up of two fierce rivals. Both characters in your ship are after the same thing, even if they use very different means to achieve it. They know each other better than anyone else, and that makes them perfect for each other.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): The Ghost Ship
As an Aquarius, your curiosity and imagination often lead you to think about the relationships that could have been. You're more likely than any other sign to have a ghost ship, shipping a living character with one who's no longer in the picture. Sometimes, it feels like the creators of your show or book just killed off your favorite character to cause you pain. In actuality, their passing gives you brand new opportunities to ship like you've never shipped before.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): The Actor Ship
You're an emotional Pisces, and undoubtedly you need your favorite character ship to be more than fiction. You always go after ships that exist both on and off screen, rooting for every pair you love to become a real-life couple. After all, watching a real celeb pairing go through the ups and downs of their relationship is so much better than something made up.
