This 12-Year-Old Girl Pretty Much Just Blew Our Minds With Her Singing

Simon Cowell is basically known for being THE harshest singing critic to ever exist. That's why we were sooo super thrilled when we heard that a 12-year-old girl (yes, only 12!!) named Beau Dermott totally blew away Simon with her performance of Wicked's "Defying Gravity" on Saturday night's episode of Britain's Got Talent.

We're pretty sure Simon had no idea what he was in for when Beau walked on stage. When he asked her if she was nervous she quickly responded, "Yes." Who wouldn't be nervous, though?! All of the judges seemed a tad surprised when she announced she would be singing, "Defying Gravity." We've all tried hitting those high notes in this song, and I mean, c'mon they're not easy!

The second she started singing, our minds were full on blown?. It's amazing that such a strong voice can come from a 12-year-old. Props to you, Beau! At the end of her uh-mazing performance, judge Amanda Holden pressed her golden buzzer. That means Beau automatically goes on to the semi-finale!
