Sweety High Takes You Behind the Scenes of the Sing Premiere
If you're looking for a feel-good movie this holiday season, Sing is just that.
With an all-star cast, including my faves Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Hudson and Tori Kelly, this touching and inspirational movie had me laughing and even crying.
I don't want to give away too much of the movie, but the storyline couldn't be cuter. It revolves around a koala, Buster Moon, who will do anything to preserve his theater during some financial troubles. His final chance to restore his family pride and joy consists of producing the ultimate singing competition—and what a competition it is!
Sweety High was on the red carpet at the world premiere of Sing in Los Angeles and here are some of my favorite moments from the exciting, star-studded day.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am fascinated by Reese Witherspoon, so when I saw her just feet in front of me taking pictures with fans, I had to capture a pic for Sweety High's Snapchat (@SweetyHigh).
I'm not going to lie, I had a total fangirl moment seeing Tori Kelly. I have been Team Tori ever since she first stepped into the music scene and I am so happy for all of her success. I am constantly amazed by her pure talent, but her vocals in Sing simply blew me away.
Our girl Laurie Hernandez is one of my faves to interview on the carpet because it's always nothing but laughs with her. This girl has confidently taken the world by storm with her performance at the Rio Olympics and by dominating Dancing with the Stars, so I was completely shocked when she became super shy and blushed when we talked about her go-to karaoke song and singing.
Fierce, fierce, fierce! This was my first time ever seeing Jennifer Hudson in person and she is so beautiful. Oh, and we spy the legendary Stevie Wonder right behind her. So cool!
Once we made our way through the exciting madness of the red carpet, we caught a first-look of the film, and I promise you will not be disappointed! I'd love to hear your favorite part of the movie, so Tweet me @cassiedilaura and let me know! The movie is out nationwide today.
