Here’s What Your Sleep Position Says About Your Personality

We spend about a third of our lives sleeping, and the way we sleep can reveal as much about our personalities as the way we spend our waking hours.

What position do you sleep in? Keep scrolling to find out what it reveals about you.

Laid Back

If you tend to sleep on your back with your arms at your sides, you're all about tradition. You have a very strong sense of what's right and wrong, and you're never afraid of letting people know what you think. You're not a loud, boisterous person, but that doesn't mean you don't want to be heard.

Side Sleeper

If you sleep on one side with your arms straight against your body, that typically means you're a sound sleeper! During the daytime, you're anything but stiff—you have a ton of friends and spill your heart out to people quite easily. People might even say you're the life of the party.

But if you sleep on your side with your arms out in front of you on the bed, you're someone who's always seeking more out of life. You might be an over-thinker, carefully analyzing any situation before acting, but once you've meticulously laid our plans, you tend to stubbornly stick to them.

Hugs, Hugs, Hugs

If hugging a pillow helps you fall asleep, you're definitely a people person. You never shy away from giving or receiving hugs, and you have lots of close family and friends that are extremely important to you.

All Tucked In

If you tuck your knees toward your chest like a pill bug, you're someone who values security and feeling safe. You don't always take big risks, and you tend to have your guard up when you haven't scoped out a situation yet. Only when you really know someone do you open to them emotionally.

The Cuddler

If you sleep on your stomach with your arms around your pillow and your head turned to one side, you're someone who understands exactly what you enjoy and what you want out of life. You're confident in your abilities and your hobbies, but you won't tolerate people who disagree with you.

The Napoleon

Do you sprawl out your entire body, taking up most of the bed? If so, you may find that you're not actually one to draw attention to yourself or act selfishly during your waking hours. You're helpful and are good at sharing even when it would be really nice to get more than your fair share.
