sombr’s Live Vocals Shook the Troubadour on Last U.S. Tour Stop
If sombr isn't on your radar yet, you're missing out. The indie-pop alternative artist has a voice like no other, and lyrical ability that many artists wish they had this early in their careers. We were happy to have the chance to see him live on the last stop of his tour at the Troubadour in L.A on July 28.
To kick off the show, the songster strutted on stage wearing a sleek suit and black shades. His band added to the ambiance, offering background vocals and showcasing what a true live show should be. From the opening song, we knew we were in for a show, that not only served live vocals, but an overall live experience.

He kicked off the show with a powerful performance of "I'll Remember Tonight" and "Never Find U," both of which showcased his vocal range and control. sombr also had an extra mic that seemed to carry an echo of his voice and add to the emotion of his songs.
On top of just his voice being his most powerful instrument, he also pulled out his guitar skills for several songs including one of the most soothing songs on his setlist, "Willow." Throughout the night, he continuously proved how multi-talented he truly is. His attitude about the whole night was also contagious, as he was super interactive with the crowd and thankful for all of his fans, band and his opener, Hana Eid.
He also performed some of his newer releases from this year, like "Perfume," "Savior" and "In Your Arms." The thing about his music is that he has no bad songs, making the show that much more enticing for fans, just waiting to see what he would play next. Hearing our favorite song, "Savior," live only made us fall in love with it even more, thanks to sombr's vocal execution. sombr is in that rare category of artists who sound even better live than in the studio.

sombr's show was one you wish you could go back to time and time again. Time stopped while we were in that venue with him, just vibing to his incredible performance and wishing it wouldn't have to stop. We are looking forward to more music from the talented musician and for a chance to see him on his next tour, as he will only grow to bigger and better heights in the coming years.
