6 Spring 2020 Fashion Trends You’re About to See All Over Instagram
Don't you just love the changing of seasons?
When winter ends and spring begins, we generally can expect the sun to come out a bit more often, and gorgeous flowers to start blooming all around us. And you know what new weather means? A new wardrobe, of course! This year, there are lots of new styles we think you should try out.
Keep reading for the six spring fashion trends you're about to see all over Instagram.
1. Ruffles
While you don't have to go full-on ruffled-out like the dress pictured below, ruffles are definitely making a big come-back. Even if it's something as simple as a ruffled hemline on a dress, it's a style you should definitely consider trying. Not only does it photograph beautifully, but it's great for all types of girls. Whether you're girly, grungy or something in between, this trend can be pulled off by anyone.
2. Square Toes
We live for a great shoe moment, and this season is no different. While pointy toes will still remain on the scene, a new showstopper is going to make an appearance as well—the square-toed shoe. From sandals, to boots, to heels, the square toe can be seen on virtually any style of shoe. It adds structure to your ensembles and will give you a major edge.
3. Trenches
We don't think we'll ever get over our obsession for trench coats. And this spring is no different. We plan on rocking our trenches each and every chance we get. Whether it's a classic beige trench or something out-of-the-box like an animal print (pictured below), there's no limit to the patterns we're willing to try!
4. Tiers
Tiers are plain pretty. Think of a wedding cake—they're typically tiered and always completely gorgeous. So why not take that idea and throw it on yourself? Tiered dresses are having a major moment this spring, and we can't wait to wear it for all of our Instagram followers to see—and inevitably copy.
5. Puff Sleeves
You saw puffy sleeves hit your IG feed last year, and they're sticking around for spring. Adding dimensions to your outfits will always be an eye-catcher. And when it comes to puff sleeves, that's exactly what you're doing—getting peoples' attention. Whether your puff sleeves are part of a dress or blouse, we seriously think you should try out this trend.
6. Baby Blue Anything
Baby blue is the color of the season. If you want to show off your knowledge of fashion, start incorporating some baby blue pieces into your ensembles. All of our fave influencers have started to rock this color in all sorts of ways. Whether it's dresses, accessories, bags or matching suits, they pull it off each and every time.
