3 Spring Hair Color Trends, According to Kylie Jenner’s Colorist
Spring is in the air and that means it's time to clean out those closets and freshen up your look.
One of our favorite ways to usher in the warmer months is with a lighter 'do, so we asked Kylie Jenner's hair colorist Cassondra Kaeding her top trends for the upcoming season.
Get ready to lighten up those tresses, because the Redken ambassador says it's all about lighter shades for spring.
Chunky Face Framing Highlights
"The '90s are coming back with chunky face framing highlights," Kaeding tells Sweety High.
Yep, those super chunky highlights made famous by the Spice Girls are back. Need proof? Just take a look at Dua Lipa, who already has an extreme take on this trend. Influencer Brittany Xavier has a more traditional take on the chunky highlights, which can be work with just about any shade.
Kaeding explains, "It's very versatile because you can do this with any hair color."
Bronde
Most recently, Kaeding took Kylie Jenner from dark to bronde, solidifying this honey hue as one of the hottest hair colors for spring.
Kaeding shares, "Bronde is an awesome color melt from brunette to blonde. This is great for brunettes who want a kiss of lightness without going fully blonde."
Pale Blonde
Say bye-bye to platinum and hello to pale—blonde that is. Pale blonde still has loads of lightness, but it's not nearly as cool as platinum, and has less dimension than standard highlights.
Kaeding explains, "This is more on the cool side but has a pinch of warm tones. I like this color because it can flatter all skin tones. It's a bit more universal for skin and eye color."
Speaking of beauty trends, HERE are a few that are already taking over.
