Your Spring Style Forecast for 2023
It's time to put a little spring in your step as we're welcoming in warmer temperatures and tons of hot new fashion worthy of getting excited about.
No matter what the actual weather outside may bring, you can plan your season ahead by checking out our spring style forecast. Here's a little more about what you can expect for spring 2023:
1. Strappy Sandals, Peep Toes and Kitten Heels
When it comes to footwear, we're seeing plenty of skin in our spring style forecast this year. Now that the sun is staying out for longer, it's time to push those heavy boots to the back of your closet and bring in some new styles in their place. Three that we're seeing all over runways and on the feet of streetwear icons alike are strappy sandals, peep toe looks and kitten heels. From minimalist gladiators to open-toe pumps and Y2K-worthy mini heels, there's something for everyone in this year's trends.

2. Maxi Skirts
While you don't necessarily need to trade in your mini skirts just yet, it might be worth picking up a few longer versions to work into your spring wardrobe. Maxi skirts are taking over in spring 2023 and beyond, from cargo styles to denim, flowy fits and so much more. The bigger the statement, the better when it comes to this trend, so don't be afraid of trying a bold print or taking texture into account.
3. Drop Waists
Think of this spring 2023 style trend as last year's corset trend toned down a notch. Drop waist dresses and tops can be found all over runways and your nearest Abercrombie store alike, and we're definitely hoping it's a style that sticks around well into summer and beyond.
4. Springtime Silver
Forget the florals, as spring 2023 is all about metallic moments. While we still hold a special place in our hearts for gold (especially after buying so many pairs of gold hoops in 2022), this year's style forecast is favoring silver by a long shot. We aren't just talking about accessories, either, as silvery skirts, dresses, tops and other items also fall into this category.
5. Leather Looks
If you're not afraid of getting a little edgy, this spring trend is one that's well worth trying. Sure, it's not as lightweight as your average flowy fits for the season, but leather (including faux) in the form of blazers, pants and even corset tops can be a great way to elevate your wardrobe with some extra visual interest.

6. Back in Black
Another surprising trend for spring 2023: all-black outfits. You don't have to go full Wednesday Addams to rock this look, as you can still take a feminine twist with flowy fits, mixed textures, cutouts and whatever else strikes your fancy.
