Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens’ First Trailer!

A decade after the last theatrical releases of a Star Wars film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut on December 18, 2015, and the trailer is here now!

This first view at Episode VII in the epic saga features a haunting voiceover by Andy Serkis of Lord Of the Rings and Planet Of the Apes fame.

It begins on the desert planet of Tatooine where a stromtrooper, played by John Boyega, appears with a frightened look on his face.

Next, we see an all new variety of spherical droid rolling across the sand, and actress Daisy Ridley appears atop a speeder bike. There's no information revealed yet about her character, but we speculate she might play Han Solo and Princess Leia's daughter, Jaini Solo!

The trailer also shows X-Wing fighters flying close to the water's surface, a brand new Sith lightsaber with three blades, and the Millennium Falcon evading TIE fighters with some incredible maneuvers!
