Beverage Company Strike Launches New, Clean Workout Performance Accelerator

I'm an avid gym-goer and I love it.

And no, I'm not the sort of person to post a picture every single time I hit the gym. In fact, it's taken me a long time to fall in love with working out and staying fit. But I do it for me and no one else.

Since I'm merely human, some days I really don't want to take my butt off the couch, which is why I take pre-workout. I don't take it every time I work out (it's not always the best thing to put into your body), just on those days I could use a pick-me-up. So, when Strike, a new beverage company, reached out to me about trying their innovative product, I was more than happy to test it out for myself. Their drink is a workout performance booster of sorts and is great for people like me who take their fitness seriously. Keep scrolling for my full review of Strike.

The Brand

Strike is a company that was created with fitness enthusiasts and athletes in mind. Backed by science and research, the team at Strike was able to create a beverage meant to target workout performance with ingredients like L-citrulline, L-theanine, caffeine, rhodolia rosea and L-dopa.

The Product

Tropical Performance Accelerator (Six-Pack): $30

I was sent a six-pack of the Tropical Performance Accelerator, and after popping them in the fridge for a few hours, both my boyfriend and I chugged one on our way to our gym sesh! Since it's recommended to drink the beverage 15 minutes before a workout, it was perfect timing.

The drink itself is only 25 calories and doesn't leave you with that tingling sensation most pre-workouts do. The taste was fruity and super easy to get down. And within minutes, I started to feel the effects. Since I know what it's like to work out with and without enhancements, I'm certain that Strike did just what it promises.

My energy level went up and I felt pumped and ready to tackle my workout head-on. The beverage is formulated with nootropics, which are known for giving off a smooth and consistent energy. I loved the feeling I got and it honestly just felt better, healthier and cleaner than a typical pre-workout.

The one part I was worried about was feeling super tired and drowsy after my workout. Especially if I do morning or afternoon workouts, I find myself typically hitting a slump and wanting to take a nap. But since that's not always an option, I just push through (often with the help of a chai). To my surprise, I didn't notice any crash or elevated level of tiredness post-workout.

Bottom Line

I'm so happy with the way my body felt after drinking Strike. It not only seemed to improve my workout, but it also didn't make me feel jittery. And since there's zero sugar in the beverage, you truly can't go wrong. I couldn't recommend Strike enough.
