13 Things You Must Do Before Summer Is O-V-E-R

Summer 2016 is coming to a close, but there's still plenty of time to do all the things you thought you'd be doing all vacation long.

We're helping you out by giving you 13 must-dos before the sun sets on your summer vacation. Which one will you put at the top of your list?

1. Go Camping

Spend a night out under the stars with your fam in the wilderness or with your besties in your backyard. You can't really say you had the best summer ever if you didn't go camping. Just saying.

2. Make Money Babysitting

A quick and easy way to make some cash before the school year starts is by looking after kids. If you need a little help kicking your career into gear, we've got you covered with some helpful babysitting tips.

3. Change Up Your Wardrobe

Get rid of some old clothes you haven't been feeling and purchase a whole new set of outfits. Back-to-school shopping is a must!

4. Tell Your Crush How You Really Feel

Maybe you've been feeling some flirty vibes radiating off the guy you like every time you hang out. Be bold and make a move. And if he rejects you, well that's his loss.

5. Visit an Amusement Park

Granted, we bet you've already done this at least once or twice this summer, but instead of going to the same amusement park once more, pay a visit to one you've never been to.

6. Throw a Pool Party

Obviously summer calls for tons and tons of pool parties. If you've only been attending them, throw one of your own. There's no better way to ring in the new school year than with an end-of-summer pool bash.

7. Read a Book

Sure, you'll be reading plenty of novels while you're in school, but those are all reads your teachers have chosen for you. Take the time to get lost in a story of your liking while you still have it.

8. Stay Up All Night

You should certainly get the "okay" from your parents before doing this, but pulling an all-nighter is something everyone should experience. Get a group of your closest friends together and try to keep each other awake for a whole day.

9. Complete a DIY Project

You've spent hours upon hours on YouTube watching various DIY tutorials, but now it's time to actually try making one yourself. But you have to complete it before you mark this as done.

10. Rock a New Hairstyle

Whether it's cutting your hair short or dyeing it an interesting color, try something you've never done before with your luscious locks. Who knows, you may end up falling in love with a new style.

11. Attend a Concert

So, so many artists are out and about touring across the globe. Make sure you don't miss your fave musician when they hit up your city. There may even be a free show you can attend around your community and you may discover a new band or two.

12. Watch a Movie at a Drive-In Theater

Why go to the same, boring old movie theater when you can go to a drive-in? They are, however, hard to come by these days, but if you do your research, you will be sure to find one close to you. Not to mention, they're way cheaper than most theaters.

13. Take a 24-Hour Cell Phone Hiatus

Get off your phone. Go outside. Be in nature. Live. You will indeed survive without your phone for a 24-hour period, we promise.

While we're talking about summer ending and school starting, we thought we'd share eight things you should never do on your first day back on campus HERE.
