UPDATE: Congrats to SUNN for winning first place in the contest!
She recently caught up with us and told us all about the new contest and what it would mean to her to win! Click here to vote!
It all began at the end of 2013. SUNN St. Clair was contacted and asked if she wanted to be part of a cover contest for Ryan Seacrest.
"I saw Ryan Seacrest's name and a 'contest' and I said yes!" SUNN said.
When the contest organizer told SUNN they would contact her as soon as the new year began, SUNN didn't expect him to follow through. But he did, and SUNN became one of 26 people in the first round of the contest.
After five rounds, SUNN is still in the standing and contending for the top spot!
"Now we're in the finals and down to seven people," SUNN said. "I've been number one the past two rounds, and in the top 3 in all the rounds. It's really exciting!"
SUNN said that she is still shocked she was ever picked.
"I do a lot of videos, and usually I'm just doing them for the people that follow me," she said. "It means a lot to me if it means a lot to them. But to know that other people like that high up in this business are seeing is really amazing. The internet is a powerful thing."
She never expected that a video she recorded in her room at home could win her a spot in a Ryan Seacrest contest.
"I'm still blown away by the whole thing," she said. "There are some other people that got picked that have a lot more views than me, so just to be considered in that realm of people makes me feel really special."

"Just vote vote vote!" she said. "I'd love it if the Sweety High girls would vote. It would be so cool to see that the girls are behind me."
