Taylor Swift Starts the New Year At the Top Of the Charts!

Shandra here! It's a brand new year, but Taylor Swift's "Red" still tops the U.S. pop charts!

The record has topped the charts for 7 weeks, and sold an additional 241,000 copies in the past week, bringing the total copies sold to a whopping 3.1 million.

"Red" wasn't released until the end of October, but contended with Adele's "21" for the best selling record of the year. I think she definitely has a chance to be the biggest seller of 2013!
