A Musical Guide To the 2015 Teen Choice Award Nominees

The Teen Choice Awards are this Sunday, August 16 on Fox, and with a list of nominees a mile long, you might want a little help figuring out who you'll be cheering for. We've got a list of some of the stars, films and TV shows that deserve to talk home their own surfboard trophies, with some fab musical accompaniment to keep you occupied until the big day.

Insurgent, nominated for #ChoiceActionMovie

"Warriors" by Imagine Dragons is a standout track on the Insurgent soundtrack with an epic sound perfectly suited to pumping you up for the awards.

Dylan O'Brien, nominated for #ChoiceActionMovieActor

Dylan used to be the drummer in a band called Slow Kids At Play (AKA the catchiest ska band ever). "Bonfire" doesn't really fit the tone of Maze Runner, but we guarantee it will get stuck in your head all day.

Cinderella, nominated for #ChoiceSciFiMovie

We think the "The Work Song" from the classic Disney Cinderella film should be on every playlist, TBH.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, nominated for #ChoiceSciFiMovie

Technically, Ed Sheeran performed "I See Fire" for the previous Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug, but it's a gorgeous little track that draws us right into Middle Earth every time.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, nominated for#ChoiceSciFiMovie and Jennifer Lawrence, nominated for #ChoiceSciFiMovieActress

Katniss's performance of "The Hanging Tree" was a massive highlight of the first Mockingjay movie. We had NO idea Jennifer Lawrence could sing like that.

Hayden Panettiere, nominated for #ChoiceDramaTVActress and Nashville, nominated #ChoiceDramaTVShow

Hayden Panettiere is perfection as Juliette Barnes on Nashville. Her cover of Patsy Cline's "Crazy" will sell you instantly.

Austin & Ally, nominated for #ChoiceComedyTVShow and Ross Lynch, nominated for #ChoiceComedyTVActor

Ross Lynch's "The Spanish Song" from Austin & Ally is not just super silly and fun, but can also teach you some Spanish.

Girl Meets World, nominated for #ChoiceComedyTVShow

Sabrina Carpenter and Rowan Blanchard star in Disney Channel's Girl Meets World, AND sing the seriously sweet theme song, "Take On the World."

Chris Colfer, nominated for #ChoiceComedyTVActor

Chris Colfer was always our fave as Kurt in Glee, and this "Somebody Loves You" duet with Darren Criss will bring you pure happiness.

Dove Cameron, nominated for #ChoiceComedyTVActress

Dove Cameron's "Better In Stereo" from Liv and Maddie is a great song about BFFs, or identical twins, if you happen to have one.

Zendaya, nominated for #ChoiceComedyTVActress

Every playlist deserves a James Bond-esque spy theme, and Zendaya's "Keep It Undercover," the theme song to K.C. Undercover, is the perfect fit.

Adventure Time, nominated for #ChoiceAnimatedTVShow

It's tough to pick just one song to represent all of the amazing music in Adventure Time, but Marceline's "I'm Just Your Problem" is definitely one of the best.

Gravity Falls, nominated for #ChoiceAnimatedTVShow

The Gravity Falls theme is a mysterious instrumental we can't stop listening to. This extended version is like magic.
