Teenage Cancer Trust Concert To Feature Ed Sheeran!
Ed Sheeran is kicking off a week of amazing concerts toward the end of March to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust!
Since the Teenage Cancer Trust was launched in 2000, the charity has raised more than £17 million for teens and young adults with cancer!
The TCT specializes in building cancer wards that cater to the needs of teens. Many teens with cancers are sent to either pediatric hospitals or hospitals where they are surrounded by much older patients, so the TCT wards give them a chance to be comfortable around kids their own age!
From Monday, March 24, until Sunday, March 30, acts will play at the Royal Albert Hall each night to raise money for the deserving charity.
Ed Sheeran will be headlining the first show on March 24! Other performers during the week are OneRepublic and The Cure.
Ed will be debuting some new music during his show, and his next album should be out within a few months!
"I'm the same age as some of the people the charity helps and it's a real honor to be asked," Ed, 22, said.
We with so badly we lived in London and that we could go, but it's so amazing that he's involved with such an awesome charity!
