Tegan Marie Is Empowering Music Students in an Awesome New Way

Our girl Tegan Marie is our country fave for a few reasons—one of them being the incredible ways she's been sharing her love of music.

Tegan recently teamed up with with Radio Disney as part of the Give a Note Foundation's Music in Our Schools tour, taking over a music classroom at Salina South Middle School in Salina, Kansas for a round of Classroom Karaoke.

The Give a Note Foundation is all about raising awareness regarding the importance of music education, and makes music classes in schools possible by providing resources and money.

Tegan had an incredible time making music with the students and chatting with them to find out why music classes have been so critical in their lives. Throughout the visit they performed some awesome tracks nominated for Radio Disney Music Awards by DNCE, Shawn Mendes, Daya, Kelsea Ballerini, Fitz and the Tantrums and Justin Timberlake.
