The event honors Smokey Robinson's 2016 Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, and it airs this Friday, Feb. 10 on your local PBS station at 9/8c.
Tegan took the stage to sing "My Guy" solo, but that won't be her only performance of the night. She also joined the likes of CeeLo Green, JoJo, Aloe Blacc, Gallant and more—plus Smokey Robinson himself—to sing a stunning rendition of "My Girl."
The event was hosted by Samuel L. Jackson and also featured performances by Ledisi, Kip Moore, Corinne Bailey Rae, Esperanza Spalding, The Tenors and BeBe Winans, with an appearance by Motown founder Berry Gordy. If you love Tegan, and music in general, you can't miss it.
