The Best Bags to Wear During Your Amusement Park Visit

Our favorite time of year is here: amusement park season.

Whenever we go to an amusement park, we prepare hard. That means preparing a schedule of rides and finding a special outfit to wear, down to the type of bag. And really, the bag you bring can make or break your experience. This summer, we want you to love the bag you carry. Below, find six of our favorite bags for all types of park-goers.

Nike Heritage Drawstring Backpack: $15.99

You can't go wrong with drawstring bags. They always hold many items and probably will be the cheapest bag you can find for an amusement park trip. The only problem is they aren't the cutest choice for a photo op, but if you're only there for the thrills, they're practical and efficient.

We love this one from Nike. It's cute, comes in a variety of colors and is made from sturdy materials.

Disney Minnie Mouse Crossbody Bag: $19.98

Sometimes, but especially with Disney parks, you'll just want to walk around for photos and good eats. For these days, it doesn't matter as much if your bag is practical, so we like to take advantage of our opportunity to carry an aesthetically pleasing purse. We're dreaming about wearing this Minnie Mouse crossbody bag with a pair of ears during our next Disney World visit.

Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag: $48

For those days when you want to take photos but spend all day actually riding rides, we like to carry our trusty Everywhere Belt Bag from Lululemon. Thankfully, fanny packs are back in style, so this bag is super cute for pictures. As people who get back pain pretty easily, it's also nice to have nothing hanging off our backs.

Loungefly Lilo & Stitch With Ducks Mini Backpack: $54.90

Everyone who loves Disney Parks should have at least one Loungefly backpack. Besides wearing ears, these bags are the perfect way to show love for your favorite character. We can promise you they have bags for every movie on their roster, and if you pack lightly, this bag is comfortable to wear all day.

FP Movement Renegade Sling Bag: $58

Don't want to lug around a backpack but need something larger than a fanny pack or purse? Try a sling bag. We've found that sling bags are the perfect size to carry our water bottle, phone and other small miscellaneous accessories, from hand sanitizer to travel sunscreen and mini souvenirs. We love the design of this one from Free People for its adjustable storage and padded strap (to release any tension off your shoulders).

Camelbak Hydration Pack: $90

Have you ever been to an amusement park in the height of the summer? It's torture. There's virtually zero shade, you'll be walking for hours, and who wants to pay $8 for a water bottle? The Camelbak Hydration Pack is the perfect solution. Besides being spacious, you can funnel water into the bag and drink it through the strap's straw. And it has an "excellent cooling" system, so it'll surely help during those humid days.
