A Flicker in The Dark by Stacy Willingham

The Other Black Girl by Zakiya Dalila Harris

Nella Rodgers decides to join a publishing house, Wagner Books, only to discover she is the only Black woman working there. When another Black woman joins the office, Nella mistakenly believes they'll bond until a series of suspicious events reveal the true nature of Hazel and Wagner.
