5 Reasons to Embrace Wearing Jeans in 2025
At the height of the pandemic, we became very comfortable with our new lifestyle of sweatpants and leggings. But as we've returned (mostly) to normal, we've had to revive our normal wardrobe. That also means we are now very creative with our ways to style anything that isn't a pair of jeans.

That said, we think we've been too hard on denim. They actually look very chic and aren't as restrictive as we remembered.
Ready to bring back jeans in your rotation? Below, we've gathered five reasons we appreciate them.
They Keep You Warm
If you live somewhere that experiences all four seasons, you are probably very irritated this winter. It's been a lot colder than usual. Compared to the often thin material of sweats, denim is much sturdier and thicker, providing the extra warmth we could all use this February. You can also add another thin layer underneath your jeans without looking or feeling bulky.

They Can Be Dressed Up or Down
The main thing we love about jeans is how versatile they are. You can look super casual by simply throwing on a tee with your jeans. Or, you can make them look much more luxurious with heels and a blouse. Don't even get us started on the amount of colors and fits you can purchase. There is everything from skinny to flare—and white jeans to dark wash.

You Can Pair Them With Any Color
When you opt for a standard blue denim, you can pretty much wear them with anything and it looks good. It doesn't matter if the undertones are clashing. Somehow, it seamlessly flows your outfit together. But even if you don't like the color combination, you can always try a different wash that looks more cohesive.
Some Denim Is Actually Really Comfortable
We completely ditched jeans because they often feel scratchy or restrictive. We finally decided to invest in a good pair, and it is a complete game changer. Our jeans can feel more comfortable than a pair of leggings. With a stretchy denim, you also won't have restricted movement.

Pockets!
As we all know, any article of clothing is better with pockets. It can feel like a chore to carry your items around, especially when you don't have enough to warrant a purse. Thankfully, many brands have gotten away from the curse of "pockets in women's jeans," and we can finally, comfortably fit our phones and wallets in them.
