6 Singalong Movies to Watch and Belt Your Heart Out

Every time we see a musical (we're looking at you Wicked), we try very hard to resist the urge to sing—especially when we know all the words before our screening. But of course, that's terrible etiquette.

Thankfully, movies often release sing-along versions to belt your heart out to on DVD and in theaters. Below, discover a few of our favorite films to sing like no one's watching.

Wicked

No one—and we mean no one—has been safe from the Wicked craze. We haven't seen a movie take the world by storm like this in years. The cinematography is beautiful. The movie is hilarious, and thanks to the powerhouse vocals of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the music has become even more iconic. Even if you hadn't previously seen the stage production, you now know every lyric to "Defying Gravity" and "Popular."

The movie hasn't exclusively hit streaming, so your theater may offer an exclusive sing-along screening and enjoy it with the crowds.

Frozen

It's hard to believe that it's been more than a decade since Frozen first released. Hey, that's given us more than enough time to memorize everything from "Let It Go" to "Reindeers Are Better Than People" and "In Summer." Test your knowledge of the songs with the official sing-along version, available to watch now on Disney+.

Pitch Perfect

Pitch Perfect brought back the 2000s comedy we know and love. As a result, we obviously learned the entire soundtrack from top to bottom. With the help of the sing-along edition, you can join the Barden Bellas and The Treblemakers with your own harmonies.

The Sound of Music

Are you more into classics? The Sound of Music will be right up your alley as you travel back to 1930s Europe. You'll get to see Julie Andrews in one of her earliest roles, singing irresistible tracks like "My Favorite Things" and "Do-Re-Mi." You might not have even realized The Sound of Music is their origin!

Mamma Mia!

Mamma mia! Here we go again and again and again, because we absolutely will never stop streaming this movie. ABBA's upbeat music instantly will make anyone feel good. Tie it with Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried—who wouldn't be obsessed? Immerse yourself in the magic by viewing the sing-along version. It's perfect for a girls' night in.

Sing

No animated movie is doing jukebox musical like Sing. Between Tori Kelly, Jennifer Hudson, Scarlett Johansson and so many more, it's almost impossible to measure up. Plus, you'll totally recognize all the hits they included in the soundtrack.
