The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Teaser Features the Creepiest Birthday EVER

The song "Happy Birthday" might have just been a little bit ruined for us.

Netflix's new teaser for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina managed to take one of the world's jolliest tunes and make it super creepy. You might not think it's possible—we didn't expect it, either—but trust us, they pulled it off.

The teaser features Kiernan Shipka as the title character, and she's the one blowing out the candles. In the minute-long video, half-witch, half-mortal Sabrina Spellman is celebrating her sweet 16, and we see the different sides of her life. There are flashes of the different people, places and problems that will play into the story, and they all come together to show exactly why the series is called The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina—emphasis on "chilling."

Yep, that's about what we should have expected from the executive producers of Riverdale. Thanks to them, we'll never think of "Happy Birthday" the same way again.
