The Deets on the High School Musical Spin-off!

It's been a while since we've heard of any High School Musical news, but it turns out the Disney Channel will be in fact airing a spin-off called 'Madison High.'

The 'High School Musical' spin-off is going to be a comedy about a school (Madison High School) that is trying to make its theater program bigger and better. So how is the school going to do this? They are going to have the kids create original theater pieces based on their lives.

Songs are currently being commissioned through Disney's production studio and their music label, Hollywood Records.

We can't wait to hear some more of Disney's classic catchy songs when it premieres July 2012.

Speaking of catchy songs, the theme song of another new Disney series, 'Austin & Ally,' is set to be performed by none other than former Disney star, Demi Lovato.

With these new shows as well as the show "Jessie" coming out soon, it sounds like Disney has some great projects coming up!
