5 Items You Can Offer to Bring to Your Friendsgiving if You Don’t Cook

As much as we love meeting up with our besties for another Friendsgiving, it's not fun to have to cook another meal around Thanksgiving. To make matters worse, we also aren't the best at cooking.

However, if you're like us and avoid the stove as much as possible, there are a few low-effort items to provide to the dinner table. Below, find five easy and quick ways to still make yourself useful during the season of gratitude.

Charcuterie Board

A charcuterie board will test your creative mind. Sure, you'll have to figure out how to make everything look aesthetically pleasing, but at least you don't have to cook or bake anything. All you need to do is head to your local grocery store and pick up the best cheese, meats and crackers. We suggest searching Pinterest for design inspiration.

Chips

Whenever we hang out with friends, there are always chips and dip lurking somewhere. Sure. It might not be the most festive dish at a Thanksgiving-inspired table, but it won't go unappreciated. Either way, it's a satisfying hors d'oeuvres before you finally pig out on turkey, mashed potatoes and all the other classic dishes.

Napkins and Plates

Arguably, plates and napkins are the most integral part of any dinner. How else are you going to eat your food? Out of the container? Do everyone a favor and provide them. Some people might not prefer paper ones, but the host of your Friendsgiving will appreciate it when they don't have to wash anything once the evening ends.

Store-Bought Desserts

You can never go wrong with a store-bought dessert. You can find almost anything you can imagine pre-made, from pies to cookies. Once the meal ends, you'll probably crave something sweet to round off your meal. Save time and pick up a plate of sweets from the store.

Utensils

Much like plates and napkins, you can't really go without utensils unless you're exclusively eating finger foods (which honestly sounds like a fun idea). We personally believe it's less controversial to use plastic forks and knives over paper plates. If you want to play it safe, go this route.
